Braking Systems For Coradia Lint And Coradia iLint Trains

In mid-November 2020, Knorr-Bremse and Alstom have agreed to extend their cooperation on supply the braking systems, the new framework contract covering 129 Coradia Lint and Coradia iLint trains. Knorr-Bremse will supply its Type KBGM-P braking systems at least until the end of 2025.

The contract is divided for 88 Coradia Lint DMUs and 41 Coradia iLint HMUs, and also includes options for delivery of braking systems for up to 350 further vehicles. 

The KBGM-P pneumatic braking systems are used in regular service since 2005 and are already installed in more than 1,000 Lint DMUs, as well as in the two prototype iLint HMUs.
