Last ZSSK Class 671 EMU Delivered

On 1 April 2015 Škoda Vagonka handed over 671.019, the last of the nine double deck EMUs of the second batch ordered by ZSSK in 2013, which now has a fleet of 19. The previous day producer realised the final technical and safety test runs with this train, involving operation off both 3 kV DC and 25 kV 50 Hz. The photos show 671.019 passing through Ostrava-Vítkovice station following the test run, after that being hauled into the Škoda Vagonka factory by Vítkovice Doprava’s diesel 740.880 on the industrial siding which provides a link to the SŽDC network.
