On 23 May 2020 a five-car dual-voltage ICNG 3108 arrived as a first NS Coradia Stream EMU in the Netherlands, being sent from the Alstom Chorzów factory.

Since early 2020 most of the railway and other media were employed by the plans to merge the transport divisions of Alstom and Bombardier. However, what can be the real benefits of this acquisition?

On 19 May 2020 Alstom announced that on the 7th of the month it delivered the 300th Reichshoffen-built Coradia Polyvalent (Régiolis), this particular train being destined for the Occitanie region.

Today, Alstom announced that after 530 days and more than 180,000 kilometres, the trial operation of the world's first two hydrogen trains was officially completed at the end of February.

Following an accident during one of the test runs near München on the 8th of the month, the damaged Class ED 250-001 EMU was sent from Germany to Poland.

On 27 March 2020 Alstom has been awarded a contract to supply 30 Coradia Lint 41 DMUs to Hessische Landesbahn.

In the previous article we described the problems with delivery of Prima electric locomotives to KTZ. However, the situation with deliveries of Primas for Azerbaijan is not much better.

In October 2010 KTZ, Alstom and TMH signed a contract for 295 25 kV 50 Hz electric locomotives to be delivered by 2020.

Updated news! Following an invitation to tender, on 17 December 2019 Alstom signed a five-year contract worth around 70 million EUR with BDZh - Pyatnicheski prevozi (BDZ - Passenger Services) for the maintenance of its 46 Desiro Classic units.

On 4 February 2020 Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (ZVMS) announced that it ordered 11 three-car Coradia Continental EMUs fitted with traction batteries.
