On Tuesday 26 March 2024 before noon, the first European Sleeper Brussels to Praha train arrived in its destination.
Many operators are facing the difficult problem of upgrading or retrofitting the ETCS OBUs (On-Board Units) to their Taurus locomotives. Moreover, the same is true for the railjet non-traction multiple units (NMUs) of ÖBB and ČD.

After the four cars from the first shortened, six-car ComfortJet test set were transported from VUZ Velim test circuit to Austria on 10 November 2023, they already started the tests on the ÖBB network.
