Class 230 D-Trains For Bedford To Bletchley Line

On 1 March 2018 Vivarail announced that it had entered into an agreement with West Midland Trains to build three Class 230 DMUs for use on the Marston Vale line between Bedford and Bletchley. The trains, rebuilt from former London Underground EMU stock, are to enter service later in 2018, thus being the first new trains to enter service during the WMT franchise.
