posted on 27th Sep 2014 01:01

Apart from the final touches, EuroMaint Rail of Delitzsch has completed the first rebuilt batch of ex-ÖBB Class 4010 EMU carriages, comprising four former driving cars and two intermediate cars. The intention is to create two three-car rakes, which will be used in the initial testing phase, expected to start in December 2014, with the vehicles used to supplement the capacity of existing HKX trains. On 22 September 2014 HKX was able to announce that the EBA had granted approval for all four interior versions of the refurbished Austrian stock. These photos were taken at Delitzsch on 24 September.
