First Lastochkas Carrying Passengers

On 23 January 2013 RZD’s first Lastochka EMUs entered public service, following a presentation event at St. Petersburg-Moskovskaya station attended by the operator’s senior vice-president, Valentin Gapanovich and other guests. The new daily services involve two Lastochkas in multiple departing from St. Petersburg-Moskovskaya station forming trains to Bologoye (ES1-010) and Veliky Novogorod (ES1-009), those separating at Chudovo, as shown in the photos.
