PSŽ Acquires Vectron

Slovakian operator Prvá slovenská železničná (PSŽ) has acquired 193 820 Vectron MS. The locomotive was formally handed over in München-Allach on 22 December 2015, but did not leave the works until 12 January 2016, when it travelled to Hungary. This photo shows it en route near Gramatneusiedl, on the line from Wien to Hegyeshalom. On 13 January the locomotive was scheduled to make a commissioning run between Györszentiván and Bicske, this being necessary for authorisation and registration with the Hungarian transport authority, NKH.
