The philosophy behind TransUrban is identical to that behind Railvolution, Europe's premier rail transport rail technology magazine. An original and high quality presentation format, combined with articles and features written to exacting professional standards, and novel touches such as transparent end-papers and an A2 poster. As in the case of Railvolution, around 90 % of the contents will focus on Europe, and this will be reflected in the geographical area of the magazine's circulation.

The poster in TransUrban 3/2008 represents the Vitovt Model 42003A on display at KomTrans 2008, held at the IEC Crocus Expo in Moskva between 22 and 26 April 2008.
