A G 6 In The Czech Republic

ArcelorMittal Ostrava is planning to modernise its ageing fleet of diesels. The first step was taken when a Vossloh Locomotives-built Type G 6, 650 300, arrived at the steelworks in August for testing. These photos show it on the steelworks network and at Ostrava-Kunčice station, on the SŽDC public network. Another G 6, 650 109, recently paid a visit to Poland for trials, initially on the Żmigród test circuit in April. It is now in the livery of Wrocław-based STK, and in early September was being prepared for exhibition at InnoTrans 2012.
