First Hamburg To Westerland Service TRAXX DE ME

Bombardier’s Kassel works has now started test runs with the first of the 15 TRAXX P160 DE ME diesels ordered by Paribus-DIF-Netz-West-Lokomotiven, which will lease them to Nahverkehrsverbund Schleswig-Holstein. The latter will provide them to the future operator, yet to be chosen, of Hamburg to Westerland group of services. Here is 245 201 on 5 February 2015 at Hannover-Wülfel, after arrival from Kassel.
