Although LEO Express had hoped to start this ‘taster’ service between Praha and Ostrava on 7 November 2012, it was delayed until the complete documentation had been given to the DU, the Czech rail authority. At 04.56 on 13 November the very first public LEO Express FLIRT EMU - 480.002 - pulled out of Praha hl. n., forming train IC 1351, bound for Ostrava. This introductory service will only run until 16 November, and between then and the start of the 2013 timetable, on 9 December, final stages of authorisation testing are to take place.
