On 12 January 2013 the Czech open access passenger operator announced that it had acquired a batch of 45 more secondhand carriages from ÖBB. The first 16 vehicles were delivered to the Czech Republic from Austria the previous day, and were dispersed to three locations – two works which are not connected with RegioJet, and the latter’s base in Praha. This photo, taken between Pardubice and Přelouč, shows the stock heading for Praha, hauled by Metrans Rail’s 186 291, on hire from Railpool. Three of these carriages are to be put into service as soon as possible.
