NS TRAXX MS Visits Belgium

On 27 October 2014 one of the new TRAXX F160 MS locomotives destined for NS, 186 007, made an appearance in Belgium, which was the very first time a member of the class had visited this country. However, NS has no plans to use them on services outside the Netherlands. The reason for this visit was to realise brake tests. Here we see 186 007 on 30 October 2014 at Leuven, with a rake of three I6 carriages. Also incorporated in the test formation is TRAXX F140 MS 2830 (186 222), which SNCB Logistics has on hire from Alpha Trains.
