TVZ Presents First Double Deck Carriages

Tverskoy vagonostroitelny zavod recently finished building the first 15 of a batch of double deck carriages ordered by RZD's subsidiary FPK (Federal Passenger Company). Selected vehicles, shown in this series of photos taken on 5 June 2013, were presented to the media at an event held at the works that day. On display were also the new WLABmz sleepers. The Class EP20 Olimp locomotives continue with their test operation, being incorporated in regular service on various routes, such as Moskva - Adler and Moskva - Voronezh. The final photo shows at Adler on 30 May 2013 a meeting of EP20-009 with VL10-1210, ChME3T-6938, 2ES4K-083 and 066. By late May EP20-015 and 016 have been built.
