An ÖBB Herkules On Test In Bulgaria

In late September 2015 ÖBB’s Herkules 2016 090 was moved to Bulgaria, for authorisation testing. This photo shows it on 27 September 2015 at Sofia Iliyantsi station, together with BDZ Cargo’s 43 517. The latter hauled the freight in which 2016 090 was incorporated for its move to Sofia. On 1 October 2016 090 was expected to start test runs coupled to ÖBB Taurus 1116 254, not involving the haulage of any freights.
