PKP Cargo Vectrons Head For Hungary

On 22/23 February 2016 the first three PKP Cargo Vectrons, 5 370 013 to 015, also numbered 193 501 to 503 and EU46-501 to 503, moved to Hungary. There they are undergoing the usual commissioning runs, required for the Hungarian approval of each vehicle. This photo shows them on evening of the 22nd in Petrovice u Karviné, the Czech station on the border with Poland. They ran light to Český Těšín, where they were coupled into PKP Cargo’s regular intermodal service from Łódź Olechów to Piacenza for run across the Czech Republic to Břeclav.
