TMH To Supply Metro Cars To Minsk

Metrovagonmash (MVM) and the Minsky metropoliten signed a contract for 28 metro cars. It is planned to form seven four-car units from them, which will carry passengers after the commissioning of the second section of the third line of Minsk underground. The contract resulted from the tender for the supply of rolling stock for the Minsk Metro organized by the Minsk City Executive Committee Minsk gorispolkom). All cars will be powered, using the asynchronous traction drive. 

On 16 and 17 March 2023 a Belarusian delegation of the Minsk gorispolkom and Minsky metropoliten paid a working visit to Mytishchi and signed the relevant contract.  MVM has been cooperating with Minsky metropoliten since the commissioning of the underground in 1984. Currently, 346 cars manufactured in Mytishchi are operated in the metro of the Belarusian capital.
