A New Cooperation On (Narrow) Rail

Under the motto „Genuss auf Schiene“ („Enjoyment by rail“) present the partner companies of „So schmeckt Niederösterreich“ („How Lower Austria tastes“) events every weekend from July to September 2020 the cheese variations and fine wines in the 1st class panorama car of the Mariazellerbahn.
The new cooperation between Niederösterreich railways and „So schmeckt Niederösterreich“ event combines two top delicacies: the premium product of Mariazellerbahn with local delicacies from Lower Austria sources. „So schmeckt Niederösterreich“ has been the focus of regional cuisine for over 15 years and gives local businesses, farmers and their products a stage.
The new „Genuss auf Schiene“ offer can be booked as an attractive package. A combi ticket includes the train ride in the 1st class panorama coach of Mariazellerbahn, two glasses of wine and a cheese tasting on the way from Mariazell to St. Pölten. In addition, unique views of the great natural landscape are guaranteed,. The combined ticket can be booked for 42.40 EUR for the one-way route from Mariazell to St. Pölten or EUR 72.20 for a return trip.
