New TRAXX DC3 Locomotives For TPER

On 30 January Bombardier Transportation formally handed over new TRAXX DC3 locomotives E494 201 and E494 281 to the client and on 7 February they left the Vado Ligure factory for Reggio Emilia base of TPER - Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia Romagna. While E494 281 was ordered directly by TPER, is E494 201 hired from LocoItalia, which recently was taken over by Railpool. The new locomotives are to be operated Dinazzano Po, a TPER subsidiary.
