Addtional Ivolgas for Moskva

On 26 December 2025, TMH and Moskovsky Metropoliten signed an amendment to the 2022 contract, which provides for the delivery of one 11-car Class EGE2Tv Ivolga 4.0 yet in 2025 and 46 Class EGE2Tv EMUs in 2026 - 2030, of the latter 15 Ivolga 3.0s and 31 Ivolga 4.0s. The main difference between the Ivolga 4.0 and previous models are the three entrance doors of the intermediate cars (i. e. except of end cars with two entrance doors on each sidewall).
The Ivolgas (Orioles) were delivered as part of a large-scale modernization program for the vehicles of the four MTsD lines (Moskovskie tsentralnye diametry, crosscity suburban transit lines), which was completed in September 2025. The renewal of the MTsD vehicles began before the opening of the first two circles in 2019 and was completed within six years.
The Ivolga 4.0 EMUs were put into service in May 2024, and in October 2025 the 100th Ivolga 4.0 in an exclusive black livery was launched on the MTsD-4 line. Currently, 19 Ivolga 3.0s and over 40 Ivolga 4.0s are operating on the MTsD network. MVPS-Servis, a member of the TMH, provides maintenance for these trains.
