On 29 January 2014 the UTK granted Škoda’s Type 109E electrics (ČD’s Class 380s) authorisation to operate in Poland. Requests for issuing the eligibility certificates for the locomotives are currently being processed. In Hungary the standard requirement is for each individual locomotive to be subjected to approval testing before it is authorised. In 2013 380.011 and 017 were subjected to this, and since January 2014 so far, 380.003, 005, 006, 007, 010, 014, 019 and 020 were sent there in groups of two or three. They are realising test runs between Komárom and Győrszentiván. The first photo, taken on 3 February 2014, shows 380.020 and 019, with 431 098 belonging to MÁV TRAKCIÓ in the background. The second photo shows 380.019 making a test run the following day.
