KTG becomes RAILPOOL Lokservice

Effective 1 September 2026, the workshop companies KTG GmbH ("KTG") in Duisburg and RAILPOOL Lokservice GmbH & Co. KG ("RAILPOOL Lokservice"), with two locations in Hamburg, both part of the RAILPOOL Group, will be combined into one company. KTG will be merged into RAILPOOL Lokservice.
Alexander Ketterl, COO at RAILPOOL: "With this merger, we aim to simplify collaboration between our locations and establish clear structures. At the same time, we are preserving what makes our workshops successful today: their experience, expertise and local operations. Our focus is on developing the organization further step by step."
The managing directors of both companies will also remain in place and will now work together as one management team. Christoph Engel will primarily focus on the Hamburg locations, while Carsten Janneck will be responsible for the Duisburg location. The business partners of both companies can continue to rely on their familiar local contacts.
