TSL-ESCHA Becomes A New Member Of MAFELEC TEAM

On 25 October 2021 it was announced that MAFELEC TEAM, an owner-managed French group of companies, acquired TSL-ESCHA, based in Halver. The German company, founded in 1986, develops, manufactures and distributes door opening push buttons, LED signal lights, buzzers and indicator and display devices for public transportation.

Within 35 years, TSL-ESCHA has become a key player in the rail and bus industry, achieving an annual turnover of around 17 million EUR. Thanks to its wide range of products, it is a recognised supplier for the equipment of entrance doors, lavatories and vehicle interiors.

MAFELEC TEAM is a group of six companies specialised in human machine interfaces for harsh environments, intended for the most demanding markets: rolling stock, industrial vehicles, aeronautics, defence, energy, elevators, industrial equipment. MAFELEC TEAM has more than 500 employees in five plants in France, one in Germany and one in China, and reaches a total annual turnover of over 60 million EUR.

TSL-ESCHA as a new family member will enable MAFELEC TEAM to achieve numerous commercial, industrial and technological synergies. MAFELEC TEAM will strengthen its world leading position in command and control solutions, exterior and interior lighting and power electronics offer, while completing its product and service range. TSL-ESCHA is pleased to have found a buyer from the industry in MAFELEC TEAM, which will continue the successful course at the German location.

As a result, TSL-ESCHA can continue to guarantee its customers the supply of high-quality products and orders can be placed as usual. In addition, MAFELEC TEAM will support and further develop TSL-ESCHA with its innovative strength. This will increase its product portfolio and the company will offer even more railway-specific products from one source with a well-known good service.
