ČD Took Over The Locomotive 193 902

On 28 January 2021, ČD officially took over 193 902 from Siemens Mobility. This Vectron MS will expand the fleet of 10 machines of this type (on hire from ELL), which are regularly used in passenger service. It will also be used for testing various vehicles on the VUZ Velim test centre, for which purpose ČD will lease it to its VUZ subsidiary.

The locomotive is equipped for operation in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary and can be retrofitted with packages for other countries as well.
