Alstom alongside SNCF Voyageurs for the entry into service of TGV M in July 2026

On 10 December 2025, Alstom announced that with the recent submission of the TGV M authorisation for placing on the market to the ERA, the project is entering the final phase of the approval process: "Aware of the time that has already elapsed, and the schedule slippage observed to date, Alstom’s teams are fully mobilised to deliver the first trainsets in the coming months, to enable the planned entry into service on 1 July 2026."
Let us recall that the latest plans called for the start of operations in mid-2025, previous plans for 2024 before the Paris Olympics, and originally it was supposed to start passenger operation in 2022.
