EURO DuFour at the VUZ test centre

On 16 September 2026, two EURO DuFour locomotives arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre. While Re 494 003 was on display at InnoTrans 2026, locomotives Re 494 001 and 002 were transported to the Czech Republic from the Stadler factory in València. They are expected to remain there for approximately three months.
As usual, the overland transport from the port of Antwerp was organised by RailAdventure. The Czech section of the journey was operated under licence by DB Cargo Czechia (DBCCZ), with a DBCCZ driver, while HSL Belgium was contracted to haul the locomotives through Belgium.
