First München-Nürnberg-Express after repair

In February 2025, the Škoda Group signed a contract with DB Regio for general repairs of five push-pull trainswith a Class 102 locomotive, including an option to repair the sixth rake (the option was confirmed meantime). The first rake with 102 003 was delivered to Škoda Pars, Šumperk on 13 October 2025.
This repair was completed at the beginning of March 2026, when the locomotive itself was taken from Šumperk to the VUZ Velim test centre on 16 March, followed by the cars on the 19th. The tests of the entire set lasted only a few days, as it was already taken from Velim on 25 March and headed to München, where it arrived on 26 March. It is expected that three more general repairs will be carried out this year and the rest in 2027.
