First Sapsan 2 In Russia

Siemens is starting to deliver eight Sapsan 2 EMUs to RZD. The first unit of the second batch was dispatched from Krefeld to Russia, arriving by ferry to Ust-Luga, not far from St. Petersburg. The photos show EVS1-09 being disembarked there on 3 December 2013. The remainder the journey to the Metallostroy depot was realised by rail.
