Former DB's IC1 coaches to Bulgaria

Deutsche Bahn's end-of-life vehicles are still in demand. One of the latest users of the IC1 carriages is ÖBB (which has leased 33 ones from Wien-based Leo Mobility Management GmbH). The most recent purchaser was BDZ, which bought 76 cars on 29 March 2024.

The first 19 were announced to arrive in Bulgaria in April, but did not finally make the journey until May. For the rest of the cars from this order, the original plan was to deliver them to their new owner at the beginning of June.
