Frecciarossa for tests in Austria

On the Marchegger Ostbahn line Wien - Marchegg, the Italian unit ETR 400 035 has been parked at the Siebenbrunn-Leopoldsdorf station near the border with Slovakia for more than a week. It is waiting here to start testing on the Austrian network in connection with the planned use of the Type ETR 1000 high-speed trains on the Milano - Innsbruck - München route from the 2027 timetable.
