Sirius in Slovakia

The CRRC-built unit 665.002 is present in Slovakia for the purpose of testing required as part of the approval process for operation on the ŽSR network. On 25 May 2023 it made its first journey under its own power on Slovak territory, on the Bratislava hl. st. - Dubnica nad Váhom stretch of line and back.

The three Class 665 EMUs were originally ordered by Leo Express, but the latter eventually cancelled the contract. These units are currently being prepared for test operation. According to earlier information, this should take place on the RegioJet's services...
