Metrovagonmash (MVM) and Minsk Metro signed a contract on 25 February 2026 for the supply of 15 new "Minsk-2024" cars (Models 81-765.7/766.7). The cars, formed into three five-car trains, are scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2026.
The cars are designed with Russian-made asynchronous traction motors. Metrovagonmash makes use of Belarusian components and equipment in the train production.
Metrovagonmash has been collaborating with the Minsk Metro for 40 years. Today, over 400 cars operate in the Belarusian capital's metro, the majority of which were manufactured at Mytishchi. In recent years, TMH has delivered 48 new "Minsk-2024" cars to the Republic of Belarus, which entered service in 2024.
