EŽ ordered EffiShunter 1000 locomotives

The EffiShunter 1000 family will grow again: seven locomotives of the Class 744.1 have recently been ordered by Elektrizace železnic Praha, a company engaged in the development, production and installation of overhead line equipment. These will be the first EffiShunters for this company, and they will be used primarily for transporting equipment intended for work on construction sites. The main motive for purchasing the EffiShunter 1000s was that they are fitted with the on-boaard ETCS.
