Alstom delivered 18 TRAXX Universals to CLIP Intermodal

Alstom has delivered 18 of the ordered third-generation TRAXX Universal locomotives to CLIP Intermodal (a member of CLIP Group). The locomotive bodyshells were manufactured at Alstom’s facility in Wrocław.
The 160 km/h locomotives were delivered under several contracts covering the manufacture of 13 vehicles (signed in March 2024) approved for operation in Poland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria and France, as well as five locomotives (ordered in March 2025) intended for operation in Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. In addition, the contracts also include two years of preventive maintenance services during the warranty period.
The TRAXXes will enable the logistics operator to expand its international intermodal transport operations, strengthening its presence both on routes connecting Poland with Western Europe and along key transport corridors across Central Europe. The locomotives are equipped with Alstom’s Onvia Cab onboard ETCS.
