First Transmontana for RSL

In July 2025, Softronic signed a contract with Rolling Stock Lease for two Transmontana locomotives. This was the first time that the Slovak pool had ordered locomotives other than Vectrons, the leasing of which to state-owned operators ČD, ČD Cargo, ZSSK and ZSSK CARGO and, moreover, to the BUDAMAR group is its core activity.
The first of the new pair of machines, 480 092, arrived in Slovakia on 1 June 2026, with a completely white bodyshell. The locomotive was then prepared for the application of vinyls, and its final appearance in the BUDAMAR design is shown by a photo in which it was captured on 4 June when leaving Bratislava-Petržalka towards Rajka as a train of CRW, which is the lessee of the locomotive (CRW is also part of the BUDAMAR group).
