Ivolga 3.0 Certified

On 30 June 2022, TVZ received a certificate of compliance with passenger transportation safety requirements for its Class EGE2Tv EMU. The certificate entitles the batch production of the Ivolga 3.0 modification, which is the very first 160 km/h EMU fully designed and manufactured in Russia.

In 2021, Transmashholding was the winner of the TsPPK tender for the purchase and maintenance of 95 EMUs for the third and fourth directions of the Moskva Central Diameter (MTsD) lines, which are currently under construction. The first Ivolga 3.0s will be handed over to the TsPPK already this year.  

Currently, 39 Ivolgas of previous two modifications are operating on the first two MTsD lines.
