Lineas and RAILPOOL extend their partnership

On 3 December 2025, Lineas and RAILPOOL sigend a contract for the extension of their partnership for another six years. Under this renewed agreement, Lineas continues to operate 33 electric locomotives from the RAILPOOL fleet. This enables the company to better respond to the evolving logistics needs of its customers across Europe. The renewed agreement also provides the option to lease additional or new locomotive types in the future.
With more than 450 locomotives in operation across Europe, RAILPOOL is a leading partner for rail freight operators. The company continuously invests in modernising and maintaining its locomotives to ensure optimal performance, high availability, and a low environmental footprint. At the same time, both companies continue to invest in innovation and sustainability, including hybrid technologies, alternative fuels, and efficiency measures aimed at accelerating the transition towards zero-emission rail transport.
