The first RegioJet‘s Class 666 EMU on test

On 26 February 2026, the first Class 666 unit arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre for complete type testing. RegioJet is to receive new EMUs from PESA for the Praha - Havlíčkův Brod - Jihlava/Brno line. A total of 18 units from the company‘s InterRegio200 family will be divided into eleven four-car Class 666 trains with a total of 300 seats and seven three-car Class 667 trains with a total of 200 seats. These are the first EMUs from PESA with a top speed of 200 km/h.
