TMH And Tashkent Metro Memorandum

On 12 November 2021 in Moskva, Transmashholding and Tashkent Metro signed a memorandum on cooperation related to the metro development in Tashkent. Under the memorandum valid between 2022 and 2032 the parties intend to cooperate in fields related to development of Tashkent underground’s infrastructure, rolling stock, passenger transportation, creation of favourable conditions for application of science and technologies in the interests of social and economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This will include implementation of digital process control system using modern information technologies, improvement of safety systems, increasing accessibility, and suchlike. Metrovagonmash has been cooperating with the Tashkent Metro since its opening in 1977.
