Bulgarian RegioPanter unveiled

On 20 March 2026, Škoda Group, with the participation of representatives of the customer of the Class 34 EMUs, i. e. the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria, presented the unit 34 005/006 at the main station in Sofia. Together with the 34 007/008 it arrived in Bulgaria on 5 March after both had completed test runs in the Czech Republic. On Monday, 23 March, both trains began tests on the Bulgarian network. Passenger service is expected to begin in the coming months.
