First RJ Service To Budapest

Today at 5.20 h the first direct RegioJet train service on the Praha - Brno - Wien - Budapest line departed from Praha main station.

RJ now offers two pairs of these trains daily (RJ 1031/1032 and RJ 1035/1036), which also means that in addition to trains from the Czech Republic, it also enters the route between Wien and Budapest. The operator states that in the first ten days of the pre-sale alone it has already sold thousands of tickets to and from Hungary and that on the very first day of operation there are hundreds of passengers travelling to and from destinations in Hungary.

In the trains four tariff classes are offered - Standard, Low-cost, Relax and Business. The rake will also include an Astra car with individual displays in the seat backs. This is a second new international service introduced by RJ in this summer, following that to Croatia.
