Starting on 31 July 2026, Leo Express is not offering services on the Bohumín - Praha route, which were formed by a Talgo non-traction multiple unit (NMU) and a Vectron. These are the following services:
- LE 1254 Bohumín (7.54) - Praha (10.43)
- LE 1255 Praha (11.23) - Bohumín (15.07),
- LE 1266 Bohumín (15.59) - Praha (19.43),
- LE 1265 Praha (20.18) - Bohumín (00.27).
After the previous withdrawal of Talgo NMUs from the Praha - Bratislava and Praha - Prešov (Slovakia) routes, the Talgos were used between Bohumín and Praha from 14 July (with varying regularity and problems). That's why we asked Leo Express: Why are you not offering Talgo services on your website today, tomorrow, or in the future? Is it because all three trains are out of order, or because you have been banned from operating Talgo trains?
Leo Express replied: "Nobody banned the operation of Talgo units. We are solving a technical problem that will be fixed soon."
We will not dwell on the truth of this statement here, if LE has three Talgos and only one unit is enough to cover the mentioned diagrams (if it works), and we will wait and see how long it will take to fix the „technical problem“.
