RAILPOOL expands its fleet with 12 additional Vectron and 7 TRAXX locomotives

On 16 December 2025, RAILPOOL announced that it has acquired 12 Vectron Type A39 D-A-CH-I-NL-B locomotives from DB Cargo. First of them are 193 303, 304, 308, 314, 317 and 322. They "new" fleet will be available for operation from February 2026. In addition, RAILPOOL has also added seven TRAXX AC2 locomotives, 185 390 - 396, from DB Cargo to its fleet. This sale can be traced to DB Cargo's poor financial situation due to the recent decline in rail freight transport volumes.
