RAILPOOL TRAXXes For Inter Cargo

On 20 May 2021, RAILPOOL and Inter Cargo of Katowice, the private freight operator on the Polish network as a member of BUDAMAR GROUP, have signed a leasing agreement for two TRAXX locomotives, including their maintenance, thus becoming a new RAILPOOL’s client.

Inter Cargo focuses on inland transport of finished products and raw material such as products for steel production as well as the international transport of rail consignments in import and export regimes. The two Class 186 TRAXXes will expand the Inter Cargo’s own fleet of 22 mostly elderly electric locomotives and they are scheduled for domestic services in Poland. The vehicles went immediately into service after their delivery last week.
