The first Czech TRAXXes with Atlas

As part of the ongoing contract with ČD Cargo for 60 Clas 388 TRAXXes, locomotives 388.027 and 028 have already been built, which are the first ones for a Czech customer equipped with an Atlas ETCS OBU (so far, locomotives for Czech operators have been equipped with EbiCab OBUs, i. e. a product from Bombardier Transportation).
Locomotives 388.027 and 028 should be sent to the Czech Republic at the end of October and, after the certificate of suitability of specified technical equipment is issued, they should begin test operation.
