On 24 September 2025, ČD put one of its Class 384 locomotives into (test) operation for the first time. This festive moment fell to 384.022, which departed at the front of the R 885 "Slovácký expres" Praha - Luhačovice service at 07.01 h. In the test operation, which is scheduled for 15 February 2026, a total of eight Vectrons (with a maximum speed of 230 km/h) will take turns, on the R18 Praha - Staré Město u Uherské Hradiště line, where the locomotive has a daily mileage of almost 1,000 km.
