Class 249 Vectron At Velim

On 17 April 2023, a Vectron DM light arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre. It is 249 003, which was exhibited last year at InnoTrans and which complemented the already present fleet of other Vectrons on the circuit. It comes from an order for DB Cargo, which has (so far) ordered 146 of these dual-power locomotives in a lighter version than the Vectron Dual Mode Class 248s.
