The tests are scheduled to be completed on 10 November, after which preparations will begin for the acceptance committee meeting and for awarding the certificate of conformity.

The Ivolga 4.0 represents a new step in the development of the TVZ-built EMUs with asynchronous traction equimpent. It is 97 % made of domestically produced components. Unlike previous models, the new version of the EGE2Tv also has three entrance doors instead of two on the interemediate cars.
