New Polish works for maintenance of TRAXXes

On 25 September 2025, Alstom has signed a letter of intent with DB Cargo Polska to establish a modern locomotive service centre in Rybnik. The facility would be a complementary one to the already existing centre in Toruń, where Alstom has been servicing TRAXX locomotives. Together these sites allow Alstom to enhance its capabilities to meet the growing demand for locomotive service solutions in Poland.
Over the past 24 months, Alstom has entered into agreements with operators in Poland for the supply of 61 third-generation TRAXX Universals: 40 locomotives for OnTrain, 18 for CLIP Intermodal, and 3 for Captrain Polska.
